We’ve won the Carder Cup at the Romsey Show
The Hampshire Apple Press has taken first place for Food Retailer at the Romsey Show 2026 — a proud moment for our small Hampshire business and a wonderful celebration of locally pressed produce.
We are delighted to share some very special news from this year’s Romsey Show: The Hampshire Apple Press has been awarded the Carder Cup, winning first place for Food Retailer.
The Romsey Show is one of Hampshire’s best-loved country shows, bringing together local producers, growers, makers, livestock, countryside displays and businesses from across the region. To be recognised among the Show’s food retailers means a great deal to us.

“A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand, tasted our juice and supported local Hampshire produce. We’re absolutely thrilled to bring the Carder Cup home.”
Our stand featured bottles pressed from Hampshire apples, including the juices and seasonal flavours that our customers know us for. The award is a lovely reflection of the care that goes into every stage — from gathering and pressing the fruit to bottling the finished juice.
Most of all, the day was about meeting customers old and new, talking apples, sharing samples and celebrating the brilliant food and drink made here in Hampshire. We are very grateful to the Romsey Show organisers and judges for the award, and to everyone who stopped by to say hello.
We’ll be displaying the cup proudly — and, as always, we’ll keep doing what we love: helping Hampshire’s apples become delicious juice rather than going to waste.
